Lakewood, Colorado

Lakewood, Colorado's fourth-largest city, is located on the western limits of Denver. Much of the city's rural atmosphere is derived from the over 6,500 acres of park lands in Lakewood (80 maintained parks); a multitude of hiking/pedestrian trails provide access to a variety of scenery.

Lakewood also features an extensive cultural scene, with a 38,000-sq-ft cultural center and a heritage center with historic structures and artifacts.

The city of Lakewood is also home to the largest concentration of federal government offices outside Washington DC.
