Monument, Colorado

Situated on the Rampart Range in Northwest El Paso County. The town is bordered by National Forest on the west, the United States Air Force Academy to the south, foothills and rock outcroppings to the north and rolling plains to the east. Monument was named after Monument Creek which flows through the west side of town.
